In GKE versions 1.36.0-gke.2459000 and later, you can directly configure Cloud Logging for L4 load balancer backend services by using the L4LBConfig CustomResourceDefinition (CRD).
This feature is available for the following load balancer types:
• Internal L4 load balancers with subsetting enabled. • External L4 load balancers with regional backend services (RBS) enabled.
