If you subscribe to our email digest, we collect your email address. We use it solely to send you cloud update summaries and service announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

Information collected automatically

When you visit CloudScoop, our hosting provider may log standard server data such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used for security and performance monitoring and is not sold or shared with third parties.

We do not use tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or cross-site advertising cookies.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

CloudScoop aggregates publicly available information from official cloud provider sources including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. No personal data is collected from those sources.

We maintain a LinkedIn company page and use LinkedIn APIs to publish update summaries. This does not involve collecting personal data from LinkedIn users.

CloudScoop uses minimal cookies required for the site to function (e.g. session state). We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

Email addresses are retained for as long as you are subscribed. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
