Gemini Enterprise: Configure granular access controls for apps and data stores

Administrators can configure granular, resource-level Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions to restrict access to specific Gemini Enterprise apps and data stores using the Google Cloud console, the Google Cloud CLI, or the REST API.

Key capabilities include:

• Independent resource-level permissions: Grant Gemini Enterprise Admin, Gemini Enterprise Viewer, or Gemini Enterprise User roles on individual apps or data stores without granting access across the entire Google Cloud project. • Custom project-level roles for restricted personas: Create custom project-level roles for restricted administrators, restricted viewers, and restricted end users so principals can access only their assigned apps and data stores. • Data store details and permissions management: View data store configurations, connected apps, sync details, and user permissions in the Google Cloud console.
