Generally available: In a managed instance group (MIG), obtain the requested number of virtual machine (VM) instances all at once by using bulk mode of the target size policy. Using bulk mode helps you avoid partial VM provisioning in a MIG. Bulk mode is particularly beneficial for batch workloads, such as high performance computing (HPC) or distributed training, that require full capacity before they can start. For more information, see About bulk mode.
