Gemini Enterprise: Agent Designer defaults to Gemini 3.1 Pro for US and Global regions

New agents created in Agent Designer use Gemini 3.1 Pro by default in the US and Global regions. Gemini Enterprise app users can select Gemini 2.5 Pro or Gemini 2.5 Flash in the agent settings after creation. Default configurations in other regions where Gemini 3.1 Pro is not available remain unchanged.

Existing Agent Designer agents in US and Global regions that previously used Gemini 2.5 Pro or Gemini 2.5 Flash have been migrated to Gemini 3.1 Pro to provide improved performance. This version of Gemini 3.1 Pro is in Limited Availability and includes General Availability (GA) Service Level Objectives (SLOs). Gemini Enterprise app users can manually revert their agents to Gemini 2.5 Pro or Gemini 2.5 Flash in the agent settings if preferred.
