For customer-hosted Looker instances, Looker 26.6 supports MySQL 8.4.X for the Looker backend database.

For customer-hosted Looker instances, Looker 26.6 supports MySQL 8.4.X for the Looker backend database. For customer-hosted instances that use MySQL 8.0.X for the Looker backend database, it is recommended that you update to MySQL 8.4.X as soon as you update your Looker instance to 26.6 or later.
